Darlings, first I have to thank you all for the comfort and the nice comments you gave me to my last entries! It feels wonderful to have friends like you and to know that I'm "understood" by you.

Today I really feel better - mostly because I spent the entire day with horses. So if you can stand more horse stories ...

Here we jolly go )

**sings** "I'm in love with der Birkhof..."

Sigh. You know what, beautiful, happy horses make me cry. I'd have cried.

Robin's dealing so well with everything.

YAY for psychos having nice long rests!

And bleep the people who don't understand Robin's intrinsic value and quality. Seriously, people you deeply respect have told you their thoughts. Those who can't see it can go do obscene things to themselves with a vintage, dirty toilet brush.

Oh dear, I'd so like to go with you to the Birkhof once! I know you'd enjoy it as much as I do. I didn't cry today in watching the horses, but a few times I really got goosepimpels. So much beauty and elegance, so much power and gentleness! It made me once again aware why I'm so fascinated and so much in love with horses ( ... )

I don't understand people who don't understand that horses (like most other animals, including humans) are perceptive and thus respond to things like being communicated with instead of being spurred. :(

(take for example: A member of the German dressage team got a penality for "unriderly behaviour" at the Olympic Games. He'd used his spurs so much his horse was bleeding. Nevertheless he's still a member of the German dressage team - and one wonders: If the man behaves like that in public, what the hell does he do to his horses when he's at home with no audience?)Ja, das fragt man sich wirklich... und nicht nur, welche körperliche Gewalt die Pferde ertragen müssen, sondern auch, welch seelische ( ... )
