What a week.

Sorry for the radio silence, but a bunch of stuff has come up this week.

One, it turns out that I've probably had some sort of pelvic inflammation for like, the past few years. After some acute and pretty debilitating pain - as opposed to the usual low-grade discomfort - I finally got a diagnosis and medication. Of course, I may now be infertile ( Read more... )

Oh dude. Pelvic inflammation, like classic PID w/ infertility from scarring? Gah! I had no idea you were living w/ that sort of discomfort... I starting to think that women, in general, will live with a lot more illness/discomfort than is strictly good forr us. :\

And the poor puppy!

I think the choice you're making re: your job (and the way it doesn't satisfy you) is pretty nervey. I totally applaud it (most people won't make that hard choice). Doesn't it just figure that you'd be challenged financially right then? Wonderful universe - always testing our commitment! :p

Yup, PID. The entire tummy area has been a bit of a No Man's Land for the past few years, between that and the IBS. Usually it was mostly discomfort, occasional stabs of pain and a vague sort of soreness. Not something you really attend to, you know? And (TMI, I know) I have a retroverted uterus, so both the doctor and I chalked up most of the discomfort to that.

In the past couple of weeks it progressed to the fallopian tubes, which actually made it really hard to walk, what with the shooting pain with every step. That made the doctor suspicious and investigate more thoroughly...and whaddya know. PID.

I was a little floored with the vet thing, but when I think about it, it'll be ok. I looked into it, and I actually have just enough saved for the driveway paving to cover the vet bill, so I won't have to go into debt. (And if we don't do the driveway this year - well, there are worse things in the world, right ( ... )

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear all you're going through. Either issue would be a lot to deal with. You're in my thoughts.

Bottle of Snake Charmer went for $89 on March 9th and a bottle's up now for$51 with a day plus change left.

May you heal well and speedily, and may your beloved doggle do the same.

Wow, that much eh? Ok, now I just have to convince myself that I do not need two Snake Charmers.
