What a week.
Sorry for the radio silence, but a bunch of stuff has come up this week.
One, it turns out that I've probably had some sort of pelvic inflammation for like, the past few years. After some acute and pretty debilitating pain - as opposed to the usual low-grade discomfort - I finally got a diagnosis and medication. Of course, I may now be infertile.
Didn't really want to have kids, but wow is it weird to maybe not have the option. I'm not quite sure how to qualify my feelings on this.
Two, it looks like Willow (my dog) will need major knee surgery. She already had one as a puppy, and now she's busted up the other leg. We're talking in the 2500$ range here.
There's no question that we'll be doing the surgery, but this couldn't be worse timing, what with me about to be out of a job as of next week. I'll have to juggle some funds around, pilfer a bit from the driveway savings and live with some credit card debt for the next little while, I guess.
Goes without saying that buying shinies and smellies is out until I have a new job, and I may even break down, get an eBay account and sell a few things. What's the going rate for Snake Charmer these days?
