I had to skip lunch to study for the Discrete Exam, but it paid off!  It was a Yeager test, yet I left something like 10 minutes early feeling completely confident, except for being scared that I was missing something big and important being done that early.  So that worked out well ( Read more... )

Church was pertinent today - the sermon was on looking to the Bible for guidance, a very fitting topic in as far as my life recently, as well as the things I've been thinking about.

Brunch was yummy...  They had chocolate chip muffins again!!!!

This morning the OSG girls (or most of us) finally got together and pieced together the things that happened in the one-shot of Faery's Tale last semester... which we are planning to continue as a chronicle.  It was fun to remember all the odd things that went on last session, and it'll be interesting to see where we go from here.

There was happiness to be had today.  One big thing was this nasty algorithm I had to write for Discrete.  We were supposed to use pseudocode to write a procedure to solve a problem in a *particular* way, which was not the way I would have normally ever have tried to solve this particular problem.  Okay, so the having to solve it part isn't the ( Read more... )

Today we rounded off the Firefly-watching with the movie Serenity.  It was good, and had lines to laugh at as always.  Once it was over, though, it felt like break had ended... which, since it's Saturday, it basically has.  There's still homework to be done, and only today and tomorrow to do it.  So yeah, break went very quickly...
