Both sets are beautiful; the first set's more somber, phiosophical-like, the second's color kind of moved my answers.^^

I think they're pretty nifty as they are, though the last one in the second set could be bigger/more vibrant/something like that. And the second last in the second set would be nice with white petals. ^^

And yep, would like to see this in a program someday.

raster:
1)Hmm..more partial? Maybe move the circle more to the bottom over the bottom corner?
3)The swirling icon looks kind of cramped, which was why I didn't think of freedom.
4) Is already good as it is I think. ^^

vector:

1)maybe darken the outline? I'm not sure...perhaps yellow petals and a different coloured centre.
3)er...not sure about this one too, but it really reminds me more of bitter than blue; maybe because of the shape and color? A wilted flower may be a better icon.
4) Maybe slant it so it's facing upwards?
5)Give it a thicker outline and maybe make the petals slightly bigger.

4. Probably put in less things. Perhaps with different shapes in contrast with the white background, the effect could be more 'random'.

Vector set:
1. Perhaps add in some green for the stem? Although it may be me, as the daisy acts as an anchor for the thought of being young and carefree.
2. We could have a tiny dot for a fly landing on the flytrap. :)
4. Perhaps use even softer colours?
5. Make it orange/yellowish?
