There's an idea. I could try to crochet Gir! I think I need to work on my crochet skill a bit more so he wouldn't look retarded =/

Aww, those are so cute! They look much better than my improvised freehanded stuff. I'm going to have to look into this whole "pattern" thing. (-;

Haha, yeah, referring to patterns can be very frustrating. For example, I still have no idea what that pattern wanted me to do for the bunny ears. I ended up just improvising them. I prefer freehanding as well :3

I thought your little animals were really cute! We could have Cute-Off! Each of us could decide on something to make then battle them to see which is cuter. I think it would be fun! Plus both of us get handmade cute animals out of it. It's a perfect Win-Win situation :D (and I want some motivation to make something new with crochet, I'm really excited to see what else I can make ;3)

A cute-off is an excellent idea! I'm very slow, though, so we'll have to find like, a week somewhere that I'm not hauling off to a festival or being a bum. ^_^

Hooray, this sounds so exciting!

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing. If we both gave each other a month, do you think that would be enough time? Depending on how big something is, I could be done in a week, but given both of our busy schedules, it will probably be best to give each other lots of time.

Okay, so, what animal do we want to make? A duck? A raccoon? A hippo? ;D Maybe even a dragon?

Here is a list of a bunch of cute crochet patterns. You can look it over and see what you like. You don't have to follow the patterns, I'm just showing you options.
