Tuition remission processed!

We owe UB $475 in fees for the semester. Multiply by seven expected semesters and that's still not even four thousand dollars for a masters degree.

And it comes as a perk of a job I enjoy?

Not going to get over how cool that is.

Sounds to me like you're excited about owing people very little money. Which is certainly something to be excited about.

There was a whole ongoing saga where Tyler's school basically lost his loans (but not in the way where the wouldn't come back, sadly, just in the way where we couldn't start paying them) and it felt really silly to be all mad because they wouldn't bill us.

So it's an ongoing trend of trying to give money to people who won't issue bills. But yes, in this case the great part is how little money it is.
