grief is such a sneaky bastard.

i was much finer on Father's Day than I ever expected.

then came the success of a show and accolades and personal accomplishment and all the other things that you know your parent would be so proud of.

the hit of that came at a random moment - the end of an inexplicable blue time. they still hit me with surprise.

checking out from facebook for a while might be the solution. i'm sorry your scab got ripped off. i understand.
