I noticed the Battlefield to Classroom thing---cuz kids that barely made it through high school and then spent 4 years in Iraq playing video games. driving tanks, manning security checkpoints and shooting guns are exactly who we need teaching our youth (without all the pesky hassle of certifications or additional education).

If I was a teacher, a student teacher or a college student studying to be a teacher, I would be soo offended--I wonder if McCain would use his voucher to send his daughters to a school with ex-Iraq GIs teaching?

ALSO___that picture must be photo shopped --- anyone have a video version with a time stamp?

Edit Again--the pic comes from the BBC web site with reuters stamp on it--click to enlarge for the full effect--http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/us_elections_2008/7671116.stm

I don't know if it indicates he took his meds or didn't, but... madmoisellestar October 16 2008, 18:57:23 UTC
The picture is not shopped. It's at a weird angle - McCain wasn't actually going for Obama's hindquarters, but it's real. He did all kinds of weird little dances and tongue stuff after the debate.

I totally flipped at the veterans-to-classroom with no certification thing. Like, we wouldn't let someone off the street teach a class, and we shouldn't let a vet either without knowing they're stable enough to do so.

Also.
