Both pine needle (tea) and pine bark (sometimes tea) are good re: symptoms or treatment of COVID/injection disease. Ran out of latter before I got COVID, but managed to buy the former recently. I'd been wanting to grow mushrooms, but hadn't been willing to get into the whole double-boiler sterile box meth lab setup that seems to be the "standard" for doing so. I'd seen a couple of videos where these folks (in S.E. Asia, apparently) were using ripped up cardboard boiled down to make it soft in 2L soda bottles and having good results. I knew that The Wife would not be happy with my using any of our existing kitchen gear to do this, so I went in search of a large, cheap, pot. Unfortunately mold overtook the mycelium and I ended up with a smelly (somewhat like Roquefort) mushroom-less failure.

I thought people just keep old logs in their basements and the mushrooms grew. Thought it would be a fun thing to try. Rather than growing compost...
