I suspect that when when TSHTF coin stores will have about an 8 hour shelf life before they're ransacked.

Most likely. Esp. in larger cities.

On the other hand, look at how slowly most of the population has reacted to other things - the kill shots, election fraud, threat of nukes, etc.
