A very interesting read. No study has yet correlated the working of the brain along with the internal biological clocks of circadian rhythm and transport of cytokines . From what I've understood through your entries are that since CFS is an immune-infection-related disorder, cytokines are important modulators of immune function and inflammatory response. Apparently, poor sleep is independent of its relationship with CFS symptomatology, but there is the plausibility of a neuroimmune mechanism underlying the relationship between sleep and these symptoms. Have you checked your PSQI score yet? Quite the riveting tale of the overreacting cytokine storm, I can literally imagine what's happening inside, like it's a visual.
