Yes, he is back, and we are ironic out the little damages done by the recent past. He was crazy PTSD at first. He is still having big violent nightmares. There is a husky bitch next door - so that should be nice.
I have decided my sister is a crazy person. I need to separate myself from her as much as possible.
I'm slowly catching up (as usual), hopefully your sister can find a smidgen of understanding and ease off a bit. I'm glad you were able to find a place and move in time and that you and your dog are back together. Hopefully he enjoys the new place!
Thank you. My dog is learning how negotiate this place - doors, floors, etc. I have said, "No Michael," to him a few times, and he looks at the floor. Michael was the psychopath man downstairs in the previous apartment, who would bang on the walls and cause distress. So, my dog knows it is good to be away from that, etc.
I have kept trusting my sister and she has kept violating it. I cannot lend myself to her lies, nor allow myself to be drawn into the dysfunctions of the past. So it looks like I will be taking a hard line against her, and probably moving out of this nice little place next year. I would rather live in a van than give up my freedom and what health I have.
Sometimes it feels like six of one and half dozen of the other, I'm sure. Nice not to have someone banging about, but your sister sounds like a source of mental distress. You have to do what's best for you for sure!
