Canada geese are the most terrifying things

They are menacing and can be very vicious

There was a whole bunch at my university

I know someone who was bitten

Their babies are cute though

Yeah, I was thinking that was a goose, and it looked familiar, but I haven't seen Canada Geese for a while. We're about the same latitude, and they've been a problem in my former city. They usually get dogs to intimidate them away, which works. But, yes, they can be formidable. Little dinosaurs.

I decided to call mine a duck, because the figures arguably are not Yeti - so I was being a little facetious in my ignorance.

i would honesty be more afraid of a canada goose than a grizzly bear

they hiss and they have pointed tongues and long menacing necks

*shudders*

Oh, not me at all. Against a grizzly, I would have no hope. But I could take care of a Canada goose. There are worse things out there - cougars, bears, badgers, wolverines, and even raccoons can be worse than geese. I'm not saying they are not a terror, I'm just ranking which would be most dangerous, not scary. Scary doesn't matter to me, other than when my CFS nerves are frayed. But that isn't me.

I expect I may one day be living in the wilderness, so, I don't believe I'll let a bird scare me.

I was walking through downtown, here. Looked over and there was a Redtailed Hawk sitting on a water pipe, a few feet away from me. I stopped to look, it turned it's head, and swiftly flew off, with heavy wings. That gave me a start, but I was in awe. I often trust my connexion to animals, although I know how skittish and dangerous they can sometimes be.
