Ever see that movie, "Escape From New York." It's nothing special, but it is often referred to by social commentators as a representation of a trend towards more crime and therefore more government control. NYC becomes so rife with crime that the authorities decide to turn the whole thing into a prison - where gangs of countless criminals duke it

but i wouldn't combine the psychedelic drug with the psychoactive/psychotropic drug tag.
I just have a "meds" and "medications" tag that I use for all my drugs, mood, health, kidney, etc.
Never been on a psychedelic drug before, but it sounds like a lot more fun.

I am a big proponent of magical mushrooms. Haven't done that, pot, etc., in a long time.
It's a good idea to use other posts to comment when you can't otherwise. I'll take care of this soon, I promise.

you can almost screen if i say something that you'd rather other people not see
i've been told that CBD could really help with my lower back pain
the psychotropic drug thing came up on my journal - idk if you saw it - where someone said she was on Seroquel. I've been on psychotropics (anti-psychotics like Seroquel) and benzos (ativan, clonazepam) and i am really really relieved not to be on them anymore.
ativan withdrawal was a bitch.
recently i've been getting vivid dreams and nightmares, and that is usually how i get when i first start an anti-psychotic (clonazepam particularly), but i'm not on anything except my anti-depressant and my lupus drugs. it bugs me that this is consistently happening (even when i take naps) and i don't know why
sorry it's just been on my mind lately

I don't like antidepressants. In fact, I expect to post about a doc who opposes them, over at anti_viral, sometime. Especially, I have campaigned against SSRI's. I was in a clinical trial which really messed me up. After that, I was told to take SSRI's for CFS "depression" or to "quit-smoke". But they are worthless, and harmful. I took them in order to prove I had "depression", which was a secondary qualification for me receiving disability insurance.
I don't know too much about medical psychtropics, although I did study some of that in Psych.
I almost ordered some CBD, but I'd rather comparative shop for it specifically later. So far, I believe it can be helpful in various ways. We've been smoking pot for probably tens of thousands of years, so it must have some health connexions to us by now.
