Mine too! It's a like a theme for my life. The Kinks were great - including their more unknown songs. I have been getting into music from about 1967-1970, via the library. It makes me want to have so many albums from back then. Kinks. Pink Floyd. Caravan. I have most of Moody Blues and Bad Finger.
I really like their period starting with Something Else by the Kinks and ending with Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One. Some of their earlier bubblegum stuff is pretty cute too, like the song "Something Better Beginning."
You have great taste. I don't (yet) know the Kink via original albums. The album I owned had both album and non-album hits, including some from your period. Like:

And many others I can't remember. I wish I could pinpoint that album. It was orange.
I looked a few things up, just now. I am now wanting to get/record album "Arthur." Reminds me of movie, "The Magic Christian," which I watched late last year.
What other musical surprises do you have in store?! Because I have never met anyone into the Kinks, Specials and Lizzo all at once(!)
