Well, I know that there are still a lot of uninhabitted islands in the world. But the problem is that most of them can't sustain human life for too long.
There are some islands to the south west of Australia which were once inhabitted but now mainly just have goats. That would be great except they are too cold and wet, as I recall, and don't grow veggies well. And one couldn't build a home or cook, because there are no trees. But the idea of having an entire island - yeah.
I can't remember the name of those isles but they are visible on a map. One of those interesting places.
