We speculated that Reid has a tattoo, and gave each other the story challenge of "Reid has a tattoo, and Emily happens to see it." We haven't seen each other's stories

this made me smile really hard and have a feeling in my chest that i can't quite describe. i love the idea of Reid having a tattoo that no one knows about, and you wrote it's discovery with such perfection. i normally don't read any Reid/Prentiss fics (actually this is the first one i've ever read), but i think you have me on board now lol.
And i LOVE the idea of a kanizsa triangle tattoo :)

This, this is brilliant. There is so much here that just wrapped me up. I'm a talker, a rambler, like Reid, and I've always imagined trust as being able to talk about everything. But this fic, in its own way, showed me the beauty that can be mapped with silence. Thank you, thank you so much!

I'm not new to Criminal Minds the show, but I am relatively new to the fandom. When I first started looking around, I was kinda surprised by the amount of Prentiss/Reid and wasn't sure what to think. I've read a few stories, but this is the first one that really made me believe in this pairing. Thank you for sharing!

Really? When I came into the fandom I was surprised at the LACK of Reid/Prentiss (there is still very little compared to Prentiss with others men and Reid with Morgan or Hotch) since that was the pairing that I naturally gravitated to. If you go just by number of tags or word count...well, that's probably about 80% me and my big giant epic fic of longness (which isn't connected to this one) "How to Fight Loneliness" and its connected stories. I'm glad this one worked for you. I'm pondering a followup.

A follow-up would be awesome, but at the same time, this one was so awesome on its own. I've looked over the tags, and sifted through the Prentiss/Reid one. Your epics have been bookmarked for later reading (yay for finished stories!). I agree with you, the 80-some odd entries for this pairing are just a drop compared to Morgan/Reid and Hotch/Reid. Oh well, guess that just means more room to wiggle.
