Good attitude.

but I love, D! :) Jack's love and persistence and trust of him makes him the sexiest thing ever. To me, that is. I loved the new web story by the way! I commented too. :)

I must say though. When I'm gearing up to buy something and read reviews for it, I always look up the bad reviews. Because if teh bad reviews are all "I had problems with delivery" and/or "they used too complicated words", "the colour is more black than I was lead to believe" or whatever. If the bad reviews are lame, then I know, because they exist, the reviews aren't all written by friends of the seller, but also that they couldn't really find anything actual bad about the product.
So for a bad review, I thought that sounds pretty awesome. She didn't like one of the characters, haa! (Also note, couldn't make it through the book... She read one chapter?)
(I wuv D.)

sure you are right when you say that there are readers who have a low tolerance for D's former profession, sure. but your commenter there said she "couldn't make it" through the story, so she can't really see where D comes from, and how well you descrobed him suffering for the way he had lived and seen things before jack "saved" him.
no, i think you shouldn't be bothered too much, you will never be able to satisfy the entire world of readers.. and again.. if you look at what is out there, you have written a 5 star novel...

Oh please!!!.....what was Rhett Butler again? A war profiteer. Running guns and shit for profit, right? In the book he had even killed before! I never heard of anybody NOT seeing him as this romantic figure, waaaaaaay more sympathetic than Scarlett, if you ask me!!!!
