I have tons of medieval garb, and I would be delighted to lend some of it to you. My garb fits many people, I have often lent garb to smaller people than myself, so I know what I have would fit you. My garb will also work for "pirate", tho I recommend you get your own tricorn hat (and I can show you a very cheap kitchy way to get one of those that looks fab) I have driven cars and grocery shopped in garb, because it is real durable clothing and not a cheap costume.
If neither of those ideas is appetizing, I can help you make a yukata, tho driving in a yukata is not recommended. I can also show you how tomake wings, and there are lots of "winged" type costumes that might apply. The wings are easy to put on and take off, and so the costume would work for driving.
You could do my favorite quick and easy costume ever. Get one of those ten-packs of cereal boxes. Stab them through with plastic silverware (sporks are a personal favorite), and dab some red food coloring on. Tape all the mauled boxes to your shirt and jeans.
well, I was going to dress up as Bellatrix for the 7th book premire, and though that didn't happen, I'm going to be her for halloween. and especially if you can convince a friend to dress up as voldy or lucius, it'd be pretty cool, I think. not so overdone as H, H, or R.
One of my friends wants to be Bellatrix for halloween. The part we're worried about is that she wants to dress her 7-month old daughter up as Dobby with a knife sticking out of her chest... we're trying to decide if it's in bad taste or not.
