Why didn't anyone ever tell me...1. About the blissfully non-sweltering, convenient, non-bulky feeling of wearing a sleeveless turtleneck under a sweater ( Read more... )

Just to say something, I really enjoyed Underworld Evolution. :)

But yeah, I didn't know for a while either that it did well enough to merit a sequel.

I also enjoyed Underworld Evolution. But I enjoyed the original enough to buy the directors cut (that's right, there's a directors cut). What I didn't know (until Friday) is that Kate Beckinsale married the creator/director after the first film. Will wonders never cease?

There is supposedly a prequel as well. One imagines that the movie is lower budget than it looks and that DVD and television revenues have helped push it along.

Its budget was only $48 million, in fact - and the first one was half of that.

My fanboy friends would like to squeal that yes, there is most definitely enough interest for a sequel to Underworld. I don't understand it either. There is also enough interest that there has to be 2 hours of discusison *after* watching said sequel. It hurted me. Ouchies. XP

Don't feel bad about the Underworld thing. Apparently Dare Devil did well enough to warrant making the spinoff Elektra (because I don't know that that actually qualifies as a sequel.)

Something that I wish someone had told me: That when you kick a wall/door/bedframe/chair no one gets hurt but you. walls/doors/bedframes/chairs don't feel any pain.
