Yeah, we've got 4 inches of snow expected in the next 24 hours, with a low of 12° tomorrow night and 10° on Saturday night. This winter business in early October is a bunch of BS. I plan to send in a complaint.

Wow. Funny. Here where we live in the hills about 8-9 miles to the east of town, we get a good bit more snow than the city this time of year. I was looking across the canyon today, and though all the snow had melted here, the trees just 50-100 feet higher were covered. Given that the Kiwis are above the valley themselves, I bet they get more snow than the city.
