OMG, no, not another new fandom!

This is kind of embarassing....Okay, you know Lauren Fuast? Yeah, the awesome animator who's the wife of the creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and who did a lot of work on both of these awesome shows and won awards for it?

Well, she kinda also recently resurrected the My Little Pony TV show. I've heard a lot of ( Read more... )

Hmm, well, I did love the episode where it was about a sun pony and a moon pony and it seemed inspired by Kells. I haven't seen anything else though...but then, I don't remember liking My Little Pony & Friends as much as the "Friends".

This was why I'd watch My Little Pony and Friends:

I guess I'll have to start watching this new show...I also recently found a 2 disc She-Ra collection for 5 dollars, yay!

Oh, that's interesting. The two pilot episodes for this series (offically called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) involve a sun-pony and a moon-pony (of course, that might be the one you're talking about, since the beginning does look very kells-ish).
Is this it? (the end of the episode provides a link to episode 2 in the upper right corner during the credits)

Aww, that show does look cute, but I don't think it was still on the air in the 90s. At least, I don't remember seeing it, even though they aired Care Bears a lot.

Ooh, you should, it's a good show.
Oh wow, She-Ra, I barely remember that one! I remember playing with toys for the show, but I never actually watched an episode until last year.

Yep, that's it.

No, you're too young for both shows. The internet claims that My Little Pony and Friends was only on from 1986-1987 and She-Ra was 1985-1987. Luckily, when both ended, I still had Muppet Babies (1984-1991), Pee-wee's Playhouse (1986-1990) and Duck Tales (1987-1990).

Oooh, I remember Muppet Babies! I used to watch that all the time, and Duck Tales. They played reruns of both shows a lot.

Wasn't the ice storm epic? We went sliding down hills on cafeteria trays on Tuesday night, and classes were cancelled on Wednesday (for the first time in 18 years or something absurd like that). People have actually been ice skating on the football field.

Lol, the ice storm really was epic. I had no school last week except for one class on monday, after which they decided it was best to cancel. It was amazing!

Dude. DUDE. I got into the pony craze when it hit the second episode. I didn't even know it had aired, but ever since the fanbase grew on 4chan, I was in. Now my pony folder has almost 6,000 files in it.

Omg, I only have like, 5 things in my pony folder even after lurking on /co/. I can't wait until I get my computer back and get photoshop re-installed so I can make tons of gifs myself!
Also, that macro is a thing a beauty. xD

Lol, I'm beginning to see snow as something I'd like to visit rather than live with. Don't get me wrong, I love taking walks in the snow and playing in it, but after spending hours chipping at ice and dumping boiling water on my sister's car tires to free them from the ice, I've come to recognize the evil side of it.

I'm terrible at making gifs. I have to learn how to loop properly. I know there's a better way of making them via Virtual dub though.

I love everyone else's gifs though.
