I don't have HBO, so I'm not watching "Game of Thrones," but it's kind of amusing to see the shocked reactions on the internets to the most recent episode.

When you're able, you should definitely try and watch it. They are doing a MAGNIFICENT job in bringing the book to screen. I continue to be so impressed week after week. I mean, even knowing what happened with Ned, I still cried when it happened on the show. :(

I definitely intend to watch the show. I may get it from itunes later, when I have some time. I love Sean Bean, so that's going to make it all the more painful. Arya's my fave, and I've heard the girl who plays her is great, so I'm looking forward to seeing her.

Oh, the girl they got to play Arya is OUTSTANDING. I mean, everyone is great, but she's one of the best. Love her to bits.

I've never read the books, but heard basically nothing but positive things about the show.

Debating on the huge dl and whether it's worth it or not?

The books are extremely dark and violent, but they're also really good. It depends on your tastes, I suppose. The only other thing about them is that the author is really, really, reeeeeeaaallllly slow. We're getting a new one this July, I think, but it's probably been five years since the last one. And he left my favorite character in a bad spot, as usual. LOL.

I'm definitely going to watch the show at some point, but I haven't seen any of it so far. I've heard from fans of the books that it's really good, though, so it's probably worth a watch. :)
