Re-shifting focus to what will undoubtedly be a tediously frustrating job hunt (thank you economic shit-storm).

But first... a well-deserved break, mostly comprised of cupcakes and Ayn Rand. Yessssssss.

I am restless, too much to actually be productive, too much to study math or absorb pretentiously underused words or make a new blog about pretty things. I need direction and purpose and motivation and also to take this stupid test already so I can focus my energy on the monstrous job-hunt that awaits.

Work is mind-numbingly boring. Even facebook is no longer a viable source of entertainment. I am editing my resume and asking for favors and applying for jobs. I am beyond stressed, but I'm also the happiest I've been in months. Sitting on my ass for 75% of my workday (read: browsing facebook bumper stickers) is apparently not a rewarding use of my time.

I never realized before this year how vulnerable it feels to live alone. The fact that I am particularly skilled at freaking myself out doesn't exactly improve the situation.
