 I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a particularly good friend, or person. But I do what I can.

Friends aren't necessarily forever. Just appreciate them for what they held in one chapter of your life, but don't try to wrench them through to the next. Maybe later you will reconnect. But for now, just let sleeping dogs lie.

It was Nate's last night in town because today he took off for Germany to meet up with his army unit and then go to Afghanistan from there.
