I totally agree about the Maggie thing - but your drabble is pinpointing exactly my concern about Dean... Where is Michael, really? Is he still there, or is it a kind of residue, a contamination left over? We know Gadreel and Lucifer left grace inside Sam, after all...

Yes, I just don't understand the logic of it - why would any of them hunt alone? I mean Sam and Dean rarely do it.

It certainly feels like something is going on with Dean, or perhaps I'm reading too much into it?! The djinn seemed to hint at it too and would help answer the mystery of what where he went. Surely he's want to watch the fallout of all of those traps...

It felt quite violent to me, and very reminiscent of Dean's MoC days, so it did make me wonder if maybe there's something of Michael still there, or maybe he's in hiding in Dean.

Thank you! I don't know what it was about this episode but it felt like they were trying to hint that somethings off with Dean (perhaps it was the reaction from the djinn?), and now I feel like maybe Michael didn't go so far after all.

I know, right?! I could be reading to much into it, but it certainly feels like they're hinting that something is going on, like maybe Michael didn't go too far after all, or he's left something behind... *bites nails*
