I loved your drabble, and love your thoughts on the episode. I agree, Jared did a wonderful job of showing how ruined Sam was about it.

Thank you! I was so sad to see Eileen go; she didn't need to, and I wanted more from her. While the script could have given us more of her loss (and less exposition!) I think JP showed us a lot, and actually JA did too in the way Dean kept focusing on Sam like he knew that he was closer to her, and was maybe feeling her loss more.

I kept thinking back to Sam's speech in Baby about picturing himself with a hunter, and I saw that in Eileen, and I like to think that Sam did too. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting :)

Aww, Sam. :( I loved how you captured his guilt and grief, as well as his hope that she’s in a better place. Lovely work! I’m sad about Eileen, but was glad we got to see Sam grieving.

Yes, I think we all feared it was coming, and while I think they could have given us a bit more, Jared did all he could to show us Sam's grief, and I really appreciate that.

You've captured his feelings very well, and I agree, Jared did a great job showing us Sam's heartbreak.

I'm so sad about Eileen... she deserved better. *sigh*

For me, it confirms something I've felt all along... that it doesn't matter if a girlfriend (or potential girlfriend) is a hunter or not... this isn't going to work out for Sam.

Thank you! I loved Jared's performance here as he showed us Sam's distress and grief. And yes, Eileen definitely deserved more.

It certainly does feel like Sam won't ever find someone to share his life with. Let's hope he'll at least have his family.
