Yeah. I've only watched the ep once, but feel that I'll have to watch it again to really appreciate all the nuances of this, from the moment Rowena explained 'you'll be the bomb' There was so much that Sam and Dean said with body language. Thank you for giving us some actual words around those unspoken feelings.

Thank you so much for all your support and kind words throughout my drabbles this season, it's greatly appreciated. And yes, there were so many little treasures in this episode; from the bomb revelation, the hug, to the cliffhangers. I really didn't know where to focus my drabble, but who can resist a Winchester hug?!

The hug was so lovely, though I wish it had laster longer. But that probably would have been weird what with their audience and the end being nigh and all. XD I love the way the image of those flower petals framed that scene, and commands the imagery in your drabble as well. I was fond of the little petal that got stuck in Dean's hair, heh. :P

Beautiful drabble!

The finale itself was pretty satisfactory to me; like, it didn't do me any personal favors, and I'm not sure if much of it really struck me, but it was certainly serviceable and I'm very much looking forward to our work this summer, and to SPN's come fall. :D

Yes, that petal in Dean's hair!!! There was just something so beautiful about those falling blossoms and I couldn't help but include them.

Yes, I know what you mean, some of this episode fell a little flat for me, like I wanted more action or tension or something, but there were some lovely moments that saved this episode; the hug, the bomb revelation and the cliffhangers etc.

Same! re: action or tension or something. And like, I'm still not really sure how what happened in 11x23 all connects meaningfully to the rest of the season, etc. re: mytharc and the emotional tenors it's meant to carry with it. But hey, we have all summer to figure that out! I'm happy to see people writing for 11x23, for sure. <3

Yes! I'm so happy to see 11.23 fic, and I hope to see more when summergen comes around. There's definitely room for people to play around it and come up with so many creative ideas, and also moving forward into seaosn 12.

I did sign up for summergen but on the last day, so I hope I made it. I'm so happy to see that you signed up too - yay for summergen! :)

Thank you for stopping by, it's lovely to see you here and hear your thoughts too. I think I probably had high expectations for the myth arc this season, and while I really enjoyed aspects of it, for me it felt like maybe the idea was a bit big for our little show. But overall, I loved this seaosn, it was so strong and there were some really stand out episodes.

I adored that Winchester hug, and brotherly moment. And yes, that cliffhanger!!! I'm so curious about Mary; is it really her? Is she back temporarily or for good? Will we see John too? And Sam, he can't be dead, right? So maybe he was zapped out of the room just in time? Maybe they were some kind of magical bullets? Maybe she nicked him? So many possibilities and questions!

I'm looking forward to a hiatus filled with theories, fic and art, and all these wonderful challenges!!! (I'll be all over your new fic as soon as I can!!!) Take care, and thank you so much for your kind words :)

That scene broke my heart! I haven't openly sobbed at an episode since Do You Believe In Miracles but that scene made me wail! This drabble is beautiful honey, just beautiful!

That was gorgeous. The hug was just superb and Sam hiding his face in Dean's shoulder... *sad face* And I agree with zara_zee that the acting and body language from Jared and Jensen was remarkable.

I adored this scene! It was quiet and understated but it suited the boys so very well, and I couldn't agree more, J2 did a wonderful job and I felt every one of the emotions that they gave to us.
