Summary - After rebuilding a life from the tatters that were left behind, Sam and Dean's world is all about carefully scheduled routines. But then Sam has an accident and their lives are permanently changed forever.

OOOooohhh! I love this more than I have words to say!

I ♥ a good gen curtain!fic - they are all too rare. I love how you paced this, not telling us everything all at once but carefully doling out what we should know at the perfect time.

I love fic where both boys want to take care of each other - sometimes too damaged to, but still trying their best. This was full of metaphors and similes that were eloquent and effective. Your care really showed.

This was an awesome prompt (there is never enough fic about Sam running), and you really did it justice!

I certainly worried about this fic more than I ever have with any of my others (possibly even including my very first one). I wanted the brothers to shine through even in the most difficult of circumstances but for it to have a different feel than some of others fics - melancholic but still hopeful.

From the first read, through each subsequent one, I loved the melancholy feel of this piece. But you also infused it with the hope the boys deserve and we readers need. And how can we not like the brothers being there for each other through thick and thin. *g* Personally, it's my favourite flavour of Winchester. A lovely, lovely piece. Well done.
