I adore a well written outsider POV, and this one is beautiful. Dean’s actions and emotions are so clear. Alice is such a great character and I enjoyed their relationship, how she gets the right balance between caring and teasing that makes Dean open up. And I love how you give us enough to be able to put the pieces together and imagine the h/c element for ourselves. Wonderful story.

I wanted to write an outsider POV for a while but really struggled with the character...until Alice. I liked the idea that she could understand Dean's pain and support him through it in a motherly role without being too intrusive.

Beautiful job! Alice was a compelling, convincing character, a great outside POV that really worked with the boys. It would be great to have the same story told from Dean's POV - would make a nice companion piece! There's a lot of missing info that would be fill in, would make a great read! Thanks for writing a great story, I'm looking forward to more!

While writing, I really fell for Alice myself and she felt like a nice fit with the boys. I wanted the focus of the story to be about her relationship with both Dean and Sam, as an outsider looking in, not necessarily understanding everything she sees but recognising the important elements of their relationship.

Loved this, how well Dean came through an outsider's eyes, and the hints of the mystery, and Alice getting to meet Sam at the end. Just a lovely story!
