Ha! Of course you can! I did wonder where all Alice's mothering came from, than I realised that it was me, because isn't that what we all want, to mother those two?

I'm thrilled you enjoyed this! I'm toying the idea of writing another story with Alice, I really did fall for her while writing and I have a few ideas so we'll see what happens!!

What lovely compliments, thank you! I wanted Dean's emotions to feel natural and not forced; his devastation at losing his brother, his concern when he finds Sam and then his relaxed happiness when he knows Sam is on the mend.

That was a great story. A lot of service staff in a diner are very observant about people, like a bartender, unless they have detached from interaction on purpose. Not enough people give the boys help, even when they save someone's life. It seems completely in character for Dean that he wouldn't accept free food or even at a cheaper price if it is an "older" woman. Dean must be getting short on money at this time but he still would insist on paying her. I just wish she could have sneaked some of the money back to them.

There aren't enough outsider povs. This is a good addition.

I'm pleased you enjoyed the fic and I agree there really aren't enough outsider povs out there!

It was important to me that Alice was there for Dean, that she could support and help him however she could but keeping a balance and sense of realism, because these boys aren't used to accepting help, especially from a stranger!

Thank you! I'm thrilled to hear that you loved Alice because I do too, she just seems to fit with the boys and they deserve someone who can mother them!
