Boxer Rebellion

There is a character in George Orwell’s Animal Farm named Boxer. He’s a draft horse, strong and dedicated. Hi motto is “I will work harder”. When he splits his hoof, the pigs sell him to the glue factory, while telling the other animals that they sent Boxer to a hospital to recover, where he died later.

Yeah I remember reading that many times. I hated those pigs after that.

I've heard it said that hard work is it's own reward. I'm not sure I agree. but I do know that hard work is the only honest way to get ahead in the long run. You miay be surprised to find that people do notice.

My Dear Sister,
Our father instilled in us something called a work ethic. I think it is almost extinct, but we both definitely have it. I have to believe that one day we will get our just reward. Just hang in there!!!!
