I'll be heading to the Raleigh-Durham area this weekend (June 8-10) to visit ymasen, however, she'll be busy on Saturday, if anyone in the area cares to hang out.
I'll be heading to the Boston area the end of the month (June 29-July 1) for roozle and sunspiral's Beginning of Summer party, hope to see lots of people there.

Cool! We'd definitely like to visit with you when you're down here. We have a hot tub, and we're not afraid to use it! Will you be driving or flying?

The airport (RDU) is about a fifteen minute drive from our place. If you're coming in on Friday, we could pick you up and take to to one of the Poly gatherings to meet up with ymasen, thus saving her gas and giving us an excuse to get together. We could also probably lend you a vehicle and a local map. Let's chat elsewhere about specifics.

Darn, we'll miss you in San Diego by a week.

If you want to see pretty toys, I can recommend an interesting car store in La Jolla. They don't mind people just browsing. And while you're in La Jolla, you should check out the seals on the beach (they took over the children's beach a couple of years ago).

Legoland is still cool, but it's a bit sad to see that some of the displays that were new when Legoland opened a couple of years ago have faded in the sun. But as you might guess, I was amused by the rats at their new pirate water park. While you're there, you should get a Legoland drivers license. It's entertaining how often people will accept it, when they ask for a photo id (I try to be careful about where I use it).

Cool! The fancy car store (Penske-Wynn) in Vegas is being operated as an attraction,
you have to wait in line and pay to get in. Fie on that.

Which destination? NC? MA? TX? CA? All of the above?

It would be great fun to have you along, and you'd probably
get to meet interesting people and get in some hot tub time
