I hate most female characters in general (in every fandom) with few exceptions... so my opinion may be considered biased. ^^U

I think I'll leave it at that so I don't because too much of a killjoy...

Other than that, I loved the eppy. :D

Heh, so if River had been exactly the same but male, would you have liked him?

We already have a Jack.

And I don't think so. There are times when Jack's too... Jack for me.

I don't see the Jack comparison myself (she's not that big a slut for one thing) but we all see things in our own way. Several people liked Jenny, for instance, and I didn't understand that at all, other than the fact that she's cute as a button.

When they say 'saved' connect the dots to the remark about the biggest hard drive in the universe...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Plus, the audio commentary for this ep pretty much gives the whole thing away.

An entire script based on the idea of the evilness of SPOILARZ gillyp June 1 2008, 11:41:50 UTC
YES!!! That was my favourite bit too - that and the delightfully hand-doodled TARDIS cover. I can't help feeling the fact she's totin' a spoilery BOOK (in a possibly not-entirely real Library???) is highly significant.

I loved River but can't help feeling there's a whole lot more to her and her story -and her history with the Doc than seems to be the case.

And her super-silly name has to be deeply significant (or else there's just no excuse for it at all *G*)

Yeah. I think "River Song" is a reference to what the Ood said to the Doctor in Planet of the Ood. But it's still a bit much.

I NEED a Tardis journal! I love how the Doctor couldn't resist trying to look at it even though he had to know that SPOILARZ were inside.

Like, what's with the weird ISBN bar-code affair on the kid - Cal's - wall?

I'm so looking forward to seeing where they go with this.

Ohhh, so SHE'S Cal? I didn't make that connection. Heh, I was trying to figure out what her wall drawings meant. There were the ones that looked like Rose in glasses and a wolf, but there was also a brunette woman and a cat, I think.
