Someone's car horn has been blasting for the past 45 minutes. The last time this happened, the police said there was nothing they could do and it went on all night. I can't believe this is happening to me again.

Devastated! It looks like when I returned my last Netflix, I somehow accidentally put Series 1, disk 2 of The Forsyte Saga into the envelope instead of The House of Elliot, Series 2, disk 2. So now my $80 Forsyte Saga series is missing disk 2 of 3, and as it comes all in one package, can't easily be replaced. I called Netflix, and the supervisor ( Read more... )

I saw a preview for the ten o'clock news in which they showed what appeared to be a shark jumping out of the ocean and twirling before diving back down. It looked so cool, and I wanted to see the piece. So there's this major highway that runs from Philadelphia to Valley Forge called I-76. I hate this road. It's only two lanes and really needs to be 3. Always, always backed up. So they decided it would be a good idea NOT to salt this major roadway last night, or any of the major roadways, despite freezing rain on top of already frozen roads ( Read more... )

For those of you that know Kiki, aka Autumn, you know that her mother has been battling lung cancer for over two years now. She died last night.

There will not be a funeral, as per her mom's wishes, but Kiki will fly down in January Dec 21st for a memorial service ( Read more... )
