Last year while visiting friends I bought a book published in 1910 called Around the World With a Camera. There are photos from around the world depicting people and animals doing every day things as well as a special section for stars of the theatre. These are such fantastic images ~ I'm glad they were captured at the time. And oooh, the proportion of parasols being used compared to today *causes me to long wistfully*... no outfit (or buggy!) is quite complete without one!
We still need to do a trip to the shore one of these days ~ if not this time, we should definitely plan a flouncy beachside romp for the future :)
