LOVE IT! And omg... I love how they send male strippers to a gay bachelor party. I mean it only makes sense, but it's still cool the game takes note and does that stuff! It's those little things that are so awesome in this game.
Frank does seem like a fantastic sim. I just might have to download him for my own game! :D
One thing I have noticed (that is kind of a bummer) that since I've installed University, my sims see aliens a lot less. It almost makes me want to uninstall it. But it's that thing where the latest expansion is the one all the sims are concerned with I think. Maybe it'll mellow out over time. I don't know how to cheat an abduction in this game, lol!
Yeah, I like that attention to detail, too. Apparently Frank did, too. The first thing he rolled after Zharor's death was "throw a bachelor party". See, he wants to see what other strippers they have (just like I do). The little pop ups are funny ("Who needs rescued!").
Frank is great. gheez did a great job making him. I kind of want to breed him (conventional breeding) to see his traits pass along. Maybe I'll have a separate game for that (maybe I'll gender swap him--I did check that out in create a sim and lady-Frank was a HOOT).
You coul always get a hacked telescope (if you can't just shift/click the telescope when in debug mode a la sims 2).
I guess I'm lucky that I installed a bunch of eps at once. One isn't dominating (though seasons is a bit domineering what with the festivals and all).
I hear you about the festivals - in my main town, it wants to replace the city park with the festival lot, and I like my city park, darn it! So they have no festivals there. I like to think someone on the festival committee ticked off a council member and now they'll never get a permit.
The thing I'm really looking for is a male pregnancy hack so my gay sims (you know they're there) can have kids together instead of just adopting or waiting for an abduction. So far the closest I've seen is to download a story progression mod, but I don't know that I want the whole thing. I just want a cheat code for male pregnancy, is that so wrong?

I'm surprised there isn't a stand alone same sex pregnancy hack. Especially since Seasons came along (I figure it didn't exist pre-seasons since there were issues with males not being set up to be pregnant). I'm leery of a big mod like awesome mod (etc), too. I don't know that I care about sims 3 enough to go to all the effort. Though I do kind of want one of the story progression mods that gives pop ups when stuff happens to sims in the neighborhood. Once I start sending family members out into the world, I'll be nosy about what they're up to (but too lazy to hunt them down

By the way, you can get the Legendary Host perk and every party you throw will be judged awesome by those who attend. Johnny got that and he's had people crashing his parties ever since. It almost feels cheaty, but I want my sims to have good parties.
I thought that about Gracie Loveland, too. I mean, that bedroom is something you'd see in Don Lothario's house. The rest of the house is very country themed and girly. She's a freak in hiding

Mullet dude strippers? Holy crap, I need to throw more bachelor/ette parties RIGHT NOW!! Too bad I suck so hard at the relationship aspects of sims3. Frank is the first sim I've been able to actually get engaged (out of three games I have going right now). Huh, he's also the first same sex pairing. Maybe I'm just better at gay pairings than straight.
