I hear you about the festivals - in my main town, it wants to replace the city park with the festival lot, and I like my city park, darn it! So they have no festivals there. I like to think someone on the festival committee ticked off a council member and now they'll never get a permit.

The thing I'm really looking for is a male pregnancy hack so my gay sims (you know they're there) can have kids together instead of just adopting or waiting for an abduction. So far the closest I've seen is to download a story progression mod, but I don't know that I want the whole thing. I just want a cheat code for male pregnancy, is that so wrong?

CHIPMUNK! That's adorable! :D

I swear, I ovulated when I saw it. How's that for girly.
I have to remember that line for future use!

Part of me wants Pets based on your pix, and part of me says noooo, don't do it (because I know I'll get tired of them and wish I could uninstall). The horses look neat though. And the chipmunks and snakes and turtles.

Frank looks like if the Hulk shaved his head (and had gray eyebrows too - Hulk has some enormous black caterpillars).

Cripes, alien toddlers are somehow creepier-looking than in Sims 2. Even if they have better skin and more proportioned features.

Are Frank and Zharor going bowling? It seems one of them has an upright pin.

So was the doll really placed randomly into the family by the game, or did you buy it for Gheez?

I've had one bachelor party so far and the stripper was a cowboy who ended up dancing on the kitchen counters. Bachelor parties are a blast in Sims 3! But one that lasts close to 24 hours? Wow, I think you win at that one.

The rugs must have been a mess after all that "nectar" sprayed everywhere!

"Want me to punch him in the junk?"
I had to bite my tongue (I was reading this on my phone in the bathroom at work and busting a gut would be frowned upon, I think)

I'm surprised there isn't a stand alone same sex pregnancy hack. Especially since Seasons came along (I figure it didn't exist pre-seasons since there were issues with males not being set up to be pregnant). I'm leery of a big mod like awesome mod (etc), too. I don't know that I care about sims 3 enough to go to all the effort. Though I do kind of want one of the story progression mods that gives pop ups when stuff happens to sims in the neighborhood. Once I start sending family members out into the world, I'll be nosy about what they're up to (but too lazy to hunt them down).

Pets is cool but it probably would annoy you. The wild horses run all over the place all the time. In fact, in Frank's game, I have a pair of wild horses stuck in the museum. One's in the center courtyard and the other is in the bathroom. I'll have to see if I can reset them (I feel bad for them). There are no collectible critters without pets? I thought there would at least be a few snakes/turtles/rodents.

*snerk* Upright pin.

Yes, the doll is a random game thing. You get a pop up saying the baby has received a gift from a relative (mine was an eccentric aunt Eugenia). You get it from the mailbox and can put it in any sims' inventory or put it in the house. It starts out in the bed (I think that's the only spot you can place it to start) and then it starts moving around, even while the baby is still a baby. It moves more when they hit toddler (does poses like the gnomes, sits in front of stuff you want to use) then becomes a kind of NPC in the household as child (or until you make it real). So far, it's been fun. But I can see how it would get old for folks who've been playing since generations came out. It's fun to see what they'll look like.

Cowboy stripper? That's it, I need to throw another bachelor/ette party. Giddy up! Is the dancing on the counters linked to a certain personality trait? I was hoping it would happen at the Epic Bachelor Party. I even scrolled over the counters to see if it was an option for anyone. Guess that means I really do need to throw a few more.

By the way, you can get the Legendary Host perk and every party you throw will be judged awesome by those who attend. Johnny got that and he's had people crashing his parties ever since. It almost feels cheaty, but I want my sims to have good parties.
