Interesting interpretation. I wish people really did get abducted and have children. Well, maybe they do and we just don't know it?

The last picture is adorable!

Yeah, I think I might be stretching the idea a bit *snicker*. But we are getting this from Thetus's pov and he does tell us how he feels about his kids (Calvin in particular, since he's the product of the abduction).

Oh gosh, I liked this ... felt it as an opening to a book that I wanted to read more of ... I know how Sims get abducted, etc but, well, this felt more like a the sort of thing I curl up on the bed with the cats to escape in, rather than a narrative/story limited to Simfandom. I'm a bit peeved really - just fancy curling up with the cats ... Sorry, didn't mean to gush (or to gush in such bad English/grammar - with so many rows of three dots!)

By the way, Vic's children are adorable. Espescially little pointy eared Hector. Just wanna cuddle 'im.

Thanks.

I've never done anything from Thetus's point of view before. In fact, I don't to a lot of first person in Nocheat (I can only remember doing it twice for one other character, Experience Woodstock).

Vic's kids are cute, huh? I think German might be a bit cuter than Hector (at this point). German also autonimously preens, which always amuses me.

Very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing this play out in your two story neighbourhoods. Thinking about the children of an alien abduction is a great way to approach this challenge.

I was tempted to take it from the Pollinator's point of view but since Jules is the Pollinator for Thetus and Truth (and yes, they were together on the ship) he wouldn't be having any "oh, I loves my kids" moments. He's all about the nut bustage and that's it. The kids are just like filing paperwork.

And taking it from a different Pollinator's pov (like, say, Paul) would have been jarring.

I love the idea of Thetus seeing Truth on the alien ship! Often I've wondered what exactly happens up there!

I like the ending! It makes me want to write a response from one of my games' abductees!

((hugs))

It's not really a secret. Jules (from Peculiar) abducted them both and (while they were under the influence of whatever it is aliens use to sedate abductees) Jules had a three way with Thetus and Truth. Both Thetus and Truth have bits of memory from the event. (Jules has full recollection and even some video footage he can use to relive the experience)

Vicente has two different experiences because he was abducted by two different pollinators (his second trip being with Jules).

DO IT. Write a response.

I agree with simhilarity. This read like the opening of a book I could be absorbed by all the way through.

Thank you.

This Abductee's Support Group is really going to help me get back into Nocheat (and make Nocheat a bit more storyish as opposed to the pure "soap opera" feel it currently has--though I'll never lose the soap side, I just can't).
