Good luck to youngest son tomorrow, and best wishes for the whalloping of D. *g*

Lots o' Gardening is tiring, but I think it feels good -- I hope you enjoyed it! Did you have good weather?

RUSTEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I've been meaning to come hug you to pieces for at least a couple of days now *HUGZ* ♥

Thank you.

We have had glorious weather - sunny, but not too hot to be *working*, you know?

Oh WOW! It's very odd to think of you still having snow around.

Thank you! ♥

To be fair, there is still snow only because the majority of the yard (it's a VERY small yard) is shaded and because the snow that was shoveled off the driveway got piled there.

You can. It's reached that point in the year when it's colder inside than it is out. And, personally, I'm not sure it's warm enough for shorts and vest tank tops quite yet - though many other people seem to think it is.

Hope the judo goes well!

Ah...garden clearance...I feel your pain. We've been doing battle with ours for weeks. The previous owners didn't do a sausage from what we can tell :-(

OT: I've heard a whisper on Twitter that 2013's World Fantasy con is in Brighton. Might be worth checking out...

Thank you!

Oh you poor darlings. Mum's kind of got away from me the last 2 summers and I ended up having to rely on a friendly jobbing gardener and his grandson to cut the grass and keep the weeds from the empty house next door invading!

I still managed to get a few crops of container grown veggies out of it though *g*

Oooh... swish :D

Well, it's *almost* under control now, although we need to try to cut through the rock-hard lawn so I can have some flowerbeds to put all my bulbs in! Getting containers/soil home is do-able but since we don't drive it would be hard work.

I'll post some pics when everything's shipshape.

Hubby & I are very much of the hack 'n' slash school of gardening so we'll get there ;-)

Hack'n'slash sounds like us as well :D

It also sounds like a fic title, but that would be another story...
