very nice. Good sequel! It's good that you left the end open for the reader to put them together again or keep them apart...
As much as I like John and Rodney together, I like the angst of a relationship in turmoil. and even though I like it to end with them together... I enjoyed this very much.

I really empathized with Rodney in this one, and I may be alone in this, but I don't think John suffered enough for what he did to Rodney. He deserves a swift kick in the balls.
