Last weekend, I attended Creation Chicago Stargate Con. I had a blast. Just as a precursor this will be the SHORT version of my report if you want more indepth versions you should totally check out elderwitty and her awesome reports for Thursday-Friday and Saturday .

LOL! Sounds like...fun? Kavan teasing and then apologizing was too cute. So now that you're back home are you getting some rest? :)

What is this rest you speak of? I have a 5 year old running around (and lest you forget I was raised by wolves) and its entirely too hot ;)

LOL! I know what you mean. My children were raised in a barn--hence their leaving of doors open and lights on & messes everywhere. They are also keeping me awake (teen has his GF over & I don't want to be a gramma just yet! ;-) ).

BTW, were you eating like a dog from a bowl or something or what? Or were you singing "The Bare Necessities"? Don't get the raised by wolves thing. o_O

Sorry you're having a heat wave. It's not been too bad here--only low to mid 90s.

Uh...well I'm 24. And I have a 5 year old. Which apparently led Kavan to believe that I was raised by wolves (I get the feeling had I gone one step further and mentioned that I'm a single parent? His poor head would have just exploded.)

Sorry you're having a heat wave. It's not been too bad here--only low to mid 90s.

It's not really a 'heat wave' its more of a 'too warm for someone born and bred in the cool weather' I can handle to about 75 degrees, but beyond that? I'm SOL, hence why I will NEVER come to Florida in summer ;)

yes it would have! However if she was there then the weekend would have included a trip to jail. No idea how or why, just that that would've happened.

And I'm glad that you didn't turn out to be a psycho-stalker killer ;)

Your Photo Op pic is priceless! I never get good pics like that.

And Kavan saying he was sorry and giving you a hug, that made up for all the insults, right? ;)

At least this one won't spark a rash of "Oh you and your hubby look so HAPPY together" comments like the icon picture did. (In my dreams ;))

And Kavan saying he was sorry and giving you a hug, that made up for all the insults, right?

I haven't decided yet. Some of the insults were pretty insulty. (He implied that I would stalk him at his house because he asked where I lived and I replied "Washington State" "Shit! That's near me. That's it! We're moving! I'm not sure where but as far from Washington State as we can!")

Yes, I totally want to go to another con and hopefully get to meet you! There are still some autographs I want/need for my collection. :D

I haven't decided yet. Some of the insults were pretty insulty.

I'm kind of taken back by all of what you said. I wonder if it was supposed to be sarcastic? Although I don't know much about Kavan as a person, I've never even seen him in person or read much about him. You'd know more than me, lol.

But if it made you feel bad.... that's not cool. :(

I'm not really sure. I was just SO surprised by it. I mean I get him insulting me in that 'funny haha' way but when he goes and crosses the line? (Because honestly some of the stuff that wasn't fit to print here? Really did cross the line)

If you got some good Kavan pics, I'd love to see them! All of mine were ruined by a combination of my crappy camera and his horrid hat :(

Yes I did get some. I'm planning on hauling the laptop with me to work on Thursday and uploading them then (we have DSL at work, whereas at home we have satellite so i have to watch uploads/downloads closely).

When I get my photos uploaded I will be sure to share a link :)
