Roller shoes
Almost every single kid I see these days isn’t so much walking around as *gliding* around. They all seem to be sporting these roller shoes and it’s all very disconcerting I have to say, watching kids "floating" over the ground left, right and center. As if the obesity epidemic in this country wasn’t bad enough with kids spending all their time indoors playing computer games rather than going outside and running around with their friends (in *my* day…), now they can’t even be bothered to walk!
Update: I *knew* they were bad news!
Oh, and it seems the correct term for this footwear is actually "Heelys".
