It is the middle of the night. Machi has lost most sense of time being locked away from everyone else. She knows when it is day and night from the light that radiates from the windows but nothing more than that. Clocks and other devices such as that prove little use in her elegantly decorated room. I don't know anything about her canon, but I really liked this little glimpse into her world. It made me laugh to see her brother trying to rescue her. :)

Her brother means well but his method usually doesn't work. Somehow, yelling to a third story window during a covert 'rescue' mission isn't good.

Siblings are annoying most of the time. I have an older brother and younger brother. They do make life less boring though. That is what they all say.
