The plot threads from the two worlds are spinning together--I'm impressed with emerging mystery and danger of the alien Sidhe. Methos is caught in an ironic double-bind--he can't save MacLeod by abandoning him to the siren lure of the meditations, and he can't afford to get to close to the Highlander, for fear of triggering the Sidhe cataclysm.
Pulling in Joe is an interesting tactical move on Methos' part. If Immortals like Methos are mere cannon fodder to the denizens of Dunal, then mortals like Joe are mere worm food, insignificant. I'll be interested to see how Methos uses that to his advantage.
Wow! I really like the Sidhe but I'm not so sure they're worth saving, not at the price of Mac and/or Methos. What a tangled web you're weaving. Can't wait for the next one.
