Day-to-Day: Wed-Sat
Wednesday and Thursday at work were quite hectic; the team of nurse advisors which we look after for a client lost their mobile phone access. I handled the problem as best I could but Vodafone were a little vague about what was actually going on, albeit it was definately sporadic across the whole network since the national manager from our client also was having problems with her own phone. On Friday, said national manager sent me a big thankyou for my help, in controlling the situation with the nurses.
Friday night; I went to Cat's (coffee_lifeform) birthday party ( see the photos @ The Two Truths). Jamie (spacelem) was there plus I vaguely knew maybe a third of the people there; however I tended more to talk to the people I didn't know; including one of the few non-roleplayers there, and ironically a lass who I discovered was the president of the roleplaying society. Generally I took photos; Cat named me the official photographer, albeit there was a guy there who had a Canon 350D Digital Rebel, complete with a fast & wide lens.
Saturday night; I went to Gigantor with Lorena (srunken_rose). I took with me a photo cd (in a dvd case) I was going to give to Cat but Cat wasn't there and someone else appears to have walked off with it! Saw Jamie again, along with Tracey (ishkhara), Lauren (luckylove), Leila (leila_child), Colin (shamenaught), and Jen (nyxlover). I also saw lemonfresh Phil and Paul (eladriell) again, both whom I have not seen for a very long while. I have to admit I was expecting a lot more people, from Cat's party and Conpulsion generally. Meh!
Lorena and I left for the Mission. Whilst enroute, we bumped into Alex (xenophanean), who had been too late to get into Gigantor. At the Mission, I saw Dragal (dragal23), Steve (faceinthesky), Chrissy (starlightorion), Jane (squeeky_jane) and Paul, plus Colin and Jamie again! I also briefly met Anna (hardcore-pixee) there, albeit I was distracted and probably won't recognise her next time :o(
Time literally flew by; and everyone left. Oh there was the big ranty moment... but I really cannot be arsed with that sort of crap. Homeward I went; and took a couple of night photos on the way. Some normal people asked me what I was up to; not in a paranoid or aggressive fashion, just in a curious way. I showed them some of my photos and they agreed that they were quite pretty.
