perhaps you can try out the new version of entourage when it comes out on the 15th. i've read good things about it.

Hell, even the old version of Entourage has its good points. But yeah, wait for the one that comes out next week. I played with a beta of Entourage 2008 a few months ago and really liked what I saw.

I was kinda trying to go without Msft software for a little bit, but if there's a free demo download, I may end up trying Entourage at some point. I'm not too unhappy with Thunderbird but also not hugely impressed. iCal is annoying, Thunderbird's address book is lame, and TB doesn't yet talk to OS X's AddressBook.app.

The big question is: does Entourage use some PST-like monolithic filetype as its data store, or something saner?
