Hilarious and scary: if you submit a comment on the City of Seattle website and use *asterisks* for *emphasis* in your email, then on submission you get an error saying you used "illegal characters" in your comment. Because, you know, those little stars mess everything up.

*Baffled*.

Is there any excuse for designing laptop cooling to have the air intake in the bottom of the computer? People use these things... in their laps, shockingly, where that air intake is going to be largely blocked. Duh.

I try to keep my nerdy software gripes to a minimum, but every so often my jaw hits the floor with such force that venting becomes mandatory. (unpre-vent-able... ha ha!)

Get this: TextEdit does not offer the option to save a document as Plain Text (.txt). I'm staring here at the Save As dialog in flabbergasted confusion.
