Mouse Breeders?

I know not to buy pet store mice, but even if I had to choose, I don't want regular mice. Nothing against them, but I think deer mice are much cuter. I guess I've been spoiled with Squeakums. Does anyone breed them or do they just breed the regular house mice?

A little over a week ago I bought a pregnant doe from a reptile store, because she was SOOOO CUTEEEE and she was headed for certain death. Well yesterday, she gae birth to a single baby. reducing mouse smell

I'm a fairly active member of the ratties community, but I work at my local animal shelter and they've rather unceremoniously left 11 mice for me to work with (they just assume I know mice since I know rats...but no one else will care for them if I don't anyway so sorta stuck with em).
